Yesterday, in honor of teacher Patrick Seaver, staff and students wore their Team Seaver t-shirts to school. The school was a sea of light blue. This is just a little snippet of the support. How would I have known that my whole life was about to change when I woke up like every other day. prayed with my father-who is a prayer warrior in church and believes in leading by example- and elder brother for two hours just like every other day. I kept for school like every other day, my uniform sleeves were folded to my elbows, the first two buttons if my shirt was unfastened which revealed my pure white singlet. I got to school late, like every other day, although I was less agitated about it because I was in ss3 that means I’m a senior. That didn’t stop me from receiving three hot lashes of the cane, I was used to it anyway. School went like every other day but it got interesting in Mr Ade’s -our artsteacher– class. He was teaching historical arts and different myths and legends when he talked about the festival of blood.
