Marching through DC was amazing. I was happy to see a lot of trans folks and allies, trans pride shirts and signs in the march and along the sides. I was really disappointed that the chants of “Trans rights are human rights shirt” would only get a few repeats by a small portion of the crowd and then die down. Sadly, my phone battery died from getting overheated by the time we arrived at the Capitol, so I didn’t have the ability to jump on FB or messenger to connect with all of the people I was hoping to see on the Mall. Thankfully my hosts were able to help take photos of some of my favorite protest signs.

Official Trans rights are human rights shirt
Good friend and human being is raising money to help protect trans youth in the US whose human rights are at risk of being trampled on. If you can, grab a shirt and support this great cause. Thank you for wearing the “Trans rights are human rights shirt” at the close of the last episode. (Trans Lifeline’s Training Director here — trans people helping trans people through crises with peer support). Being an outspoken ally of trans people right now with the increasingly vocal and widespread hostility toward us is really brave.
