I noticed today that there is a Starbucks in the Target near us, and another Starbucks in the same strip mall area, and then another about three blocks away. The one on Target is most likely geared to multitasking people. Probably a lot of moms on the go. The one in that same strip mall looks like it’s got lots of seating. I’d bet this is frequented by people wanting a change of scenery, and free WiFi with their beverage. Probably a lot of college students. The third one has a drive thru and very little seating. I’d bet the main crowd there are business professionals in a hurry on their way somewhere. What’s my point? Well, these three establishments serve similar if not the exact same menu, but they gear toward different people. So, if you’re on my friends list and sell Younique like me, or Mary Kay, Limelight, Lipsense, or any other “competitor,” I’d like to say we are not actually competing. We’ll each offer a different service for our customers, in a different way… Even if we offer similar products. I promise never to pull you down. I don’t need to! Because we can all coexist, and offer amazing service and our favorite products! Lift each other up!
