The results of my Cherokee it’s in my DNA shirt test reveal that my ancestry is made up of a typical American mix. Mine is primarily German with a sprinkling of the melting pot unique to this glorious experiment in liberty. Some Irish, English and a bit of Other. The American Indian my mother felt was a part of her orphan father didn’t pan out in the telling of the test results. My assumption that there would be some Finkelstein behind an abbreviated Fink surname didn’t hold water either.

Most people that have distant Native American ancestry most always say the tribe is Cherokee. I am part Native American, but I have so very little Cherokee ancestry to where I don’t even claim it. So what I inherited a trace of DNA from the Cherokee. I also inherited a trace of DNA from a tribe that has been extinct for 200 years called the Saponi. Most of my Cherokee it’s in my DNA shirt is from the Muscogee Creek and second the Chickahominy. Only 11.2125% of my DNA is from my Native American ancestry
