Never mind the pupils I think every teacher should have one in their classroom for those moments when they want to bang their heads against the wall. All my children had one in there lives at school at one point. One teacher had kittens that need to be held and passed around all day. Great for those that like dogs but my son would have been scared stiff. Not everyone likes them sadly. Please keep walking past my classroom. Enjoy your dog in your own space. Tried with our pets as therapy dog offering to help those children with anxiety and still not been into the school! My daughters’ school has one and he is a cockapoo so ok for kids with allergies and he’s a great asset to the kids. This could have sent me to the hospital as a kid. Lots of people have serious pet allergies including asthma attacks. Implementing this would have to take the health of all students into consideration. It’s a win-win-win because the puppies get lots of love and real-world exposure from the students and staff, the students learn patience and how to train and care for a puppy.
